Overturned 18 wheeler blocking lanes on I-59 near Birmingham

An 18 wheeler crash shut down a section of Interstate 59 southbound Thursday morning.{} An Ozark truck and trailer spun around in the opposite direction and overturned just before the airport exit in the early morning hours. Alabama Department of Transportation and Emergency Management Agency crews were busy with a tow trucks and a crane to get the truck upright.{} Crews put air bag underneath the trailer to get enough room to slide cables underneath the trailer.{} Once cords were wrapped around the cargo, the crane was able to help get the wheels back on the ground.One lane of I-59 southbound is now open.{} EMA employee Dan Roybal says the driver is okay.
