WALKER COUNTY, Ala. -- Dozens of students are preparing for their last graduation ceremony at Parrish High School before it closes its door for good.The Walker County Board of Education cited funding and lack of resources in its decision earlier this year to close Parrish High, T.S. Boyd and Sipsey Elementary School.Students from Parrish will likely attend Cordova and Oakman High Schools.Thirty-six seniors of the 240 students who attend Parrish will graduate Friday, marking the final senior class to do so.
