A Parrish man has been arrested and charged in connection with three bomb threats made at two schools and a hospital, as well as an armed robbery at Rock Creek Pharmacy, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said.
Benji Chap Morrow, 35, was arrested at his home Wednesday morning and charged with three counts of making a terrorist threat and one county of first-degree robbery.
According to the sheriff's office, Morrow allegedly called in bomb threats at two Hueytown schools and a UAB West hospital on Jan. 17 as part of a plan to distract law enforcement while he robbed the pharmacy on Warrior River Road of cash and drugs.
Investigators were led to Morrow after receiving an anonymous tip.
Morrow has denied all allegations. He currently remains in the Jefferson County Jail on bonds totaling $105,000.
