Chilton County peach farmers were concerned about the overnight temperatures, but after assessing their crops Wednesday, farmers believe the crops fared well.
"I feel good about last night," said farmer Jim Durbin.
A cold snap a few weeks ago damaged approximately 30 to 40 percent of peach crops for some farmers.
"Memorial weekend is usually when the summer kicks off," said Peach Park owner Mark Gray. "We will probably have some peaches, but I don't know how many."
Some farmers monitored their crops overnight and said the temperature reached 32 degrees in some parts of Chilton County.
