      Pedestrian struck, killed by Amtrak train in Tuscaloosa

      TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, Alabama -- A pedestrian was struck and killed by a train departing Tuscaloosa Thursday afternoon, ABC 33/40 reporter Isaiah Harper has learned.

      The incident occurred around 2 p.m. just before the Buttermilk Road and Clements Road railroad crossing. The identity of the victim hasn't been released. No one aboard the train was injured.
