Police chiefs to meet with President Obama

As part of the Obama administration's push to address gun violence, the President isset to meet with police chiefs from three communities that have recently dealtwith mass shootings.

Obama isdrawing attention to the worst shootings of 2012, inviting the police chiefsfrom Aurora, CO, where 12 were killed in July; Oak Creek, WI, where sixdied in a Sikh temple assault: and Newtown, CT, where 20 of the 28 killed were elementary schoolstudents.

Representativesfrom the Major Cities Chiefs Association and the Major County SheriffsAssociation are scheduled to participate in Monday's White House meeting.

VicePresident Joe Biden, Attorney General Eric Holder and Department of HomelandSecurity Secretary Janet Napolitano will also attend.
