Police looking for man accused of stealing doll from shopping cart

Update: Police have identified the man and woman. They have not released any other details.


Investigators in Tuscaloosa need your help to find a couple wanted in connection with a stolen baby doll.

Investigators say the theft occurred at Walmart on Skyland Boulevard on December 14, 2013. They say the man and woman entered the store pushing a shopping cart with a car seat inside of it. They walked around the store and when they came to the clothing section the male suspect took a doll out of another shopping cart and put it in his cart and walked out of the store. The doll belonged to a 8-year-old who was in the store with her grandmother looking at clothes and had stepped away from the shopping cart for a moment. The doll was more than a year old and was not in store packaging.
