Police officer rescues man from burning home

A Clayton County police officer rescued an unconscious man from a burning house.

Authorities in Clayton County, GA say a police officer rushed into a burning home to save a man lying unconscious on the floor. Clayton County police officers were at the scene of a house fire in Morrow early Sunday morning when Cassandra Jones told them her husband Fabian Jones was still inside. Police say officer Rocky Lee kicked in a kitchen door and crawled through thick smoke to find the 37-year-old Jones unconscious and pull him to safety. Police say Mr. Jones was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to a hospital with non-life threatening burns.
