Possible drowning on Coosa River near Pell City


The search continues on the Coosa River for a possible drowning victim.Crews are out in boats and searching by air for a man who went missing Saturday morning.The St. Clair County Sheriff is now calling this a recovery mission. Rescuers started searching again around nine Sunday morning. They've been searching the bottom of the river near Stemley Bridge. That's where the sheriff says the victim was last seen.St. Clair County Sheriff Terry Surles says "This gentleman had car trouble or an accident in Pell City. Someone had picked him up and he was distraught, aggravated with himself I think. He didn't want to live anymore and wanted to jump off this bridge, that's the information we received so far."The victim's name has not been released. Crews will continue the search until dark
