A three-year expansion project at Princeton Baptist Medical Center is complete. Tuesday afternoon, at 2:00 o'clock, the public is invited to tour the facility's new East Expansion.
The $57 million expansion is the largest construction project ever undertaken in West Birmingham according to information released by the Baptist Health System. The expansion includes 16 over-sized surgery suites. The new surgery department has also added a Multi-Specialty Imaging suite featuring Alabama's first Artis ZEEGO multi-axis imaging system by Siemens. This robotic technology allows surgeons to perform vascular and radiological images in the operating room.
Princeton Baptist Medical Center is the largest hospital included in the Baptist Health System.
