Princeton Baptist opens renovated women's center

Princeton Baptist Medical Center's will hold a baby shower-themed open house for its newly renovated Women's Center. It will be Thursday, February 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the 4th floor of the hospital. The event will mark the unveiling of the hospital's $1.4 million newly renovated Women and Infants Unit. Guests can tour the new facility, meet the nursing staff and the physicians, enjoy refreshments and register for prizes.

The hospital says that the facility has six labor and delivery suites and 12 private post-delivery rooms, which have been upgraded to feel more "fine hotel" than hospital. The newly renovated post-delivery rooms features sconce lighting, new wood floors, flat screen televisions, and wall art. The unit also features a lactation room for new mothers whose babies are in the NICU, as well as a newly renovated waiting area with new furniture, window treatments and lighting.
