Ole Miss football coach Hugh Freeze rolled into Birmingham Wednesday afternoon as part of the Ole Miss Rebel Road Trip. The Magic City was one of the 16 stops included in the five day event. "It's been great, everywhere we've gone the venues have been packed with fans," Freeze said.
Wednesday's event was no exception. Hundreds of Rebel fans traveled to the Vulcan Museum for a chance to visit with the new coach.
Freeze just finished his first spring in Oxford. He succeeded Houston Nutt, who finished up the 2011 season with a 2-10 record. Freeze said he didn't want to talk much about the expectations for his team in the fall, instead he promised his team would play with passion and energy.
