      Recipe May 2 Sauteed Oyster Appetizer

      Sauted Oysters - appetizer

      ingredients:

      12 Ounces Oysters

      1/3 Cup Bread Crumbs

      1/3 Cup Parmesan Cheese, grated

      3 Tablespoons each Salt and Freshly Ground Pepper and Olive Oil

      2 Cloves Garlic, minced

      1/4 Cup Italian Flat Leaf Parsley, chopped

      2 Each Green Onions, sliced

      3 Drops Hot Pepper Sauce , or more, to taste

      2 Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice

      instructions:

      Rinse oysters.

      Drain and pat dry.

      In a small bowl, add cheese, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper.

      Gently roll oysters so they are well coated in cheese mixture; set aside.

      In a medium skillet, heat olive oil.

      Add garlic, parsley, green onion and hot sauce.

      Saut 2-3 minutes.

      Add lemon juice.

      Add oysters to skillet and saut for about 5 minutes.

      Serve w/ crusty bread
