Reform man, 80, dies after car collides with tractor-trailer on US 82 in Pickens County
TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- An elderly Reform man was killed Friday in an accident involving a tractor-trailer on U.S. 82 in Pickens County, Alabama State Troopers said.Charles Hall, 80, died around 8:20 a.m. after his 1996 Ford Taurus collided with a Peterbilt truck at mile marker 15, which is approximately two miles west of Reform. The driver of the truck wasn't injured.
According to Sgt. Steve Jarrett, Hall wasn't wearing a seat belt. Details regarding the cause of the accident haven't been released.An investigation remains ongoing.
