Reginald Mims charged with attempted murder and robbery

Reginald Mims, one of three people arrested and charged with capital murder for the shooting deaths of five men in January 2012 was, on Thursday, charged with attempted murder and robbery.{} These charges stem from an incident that took place on Jan. 16. 2012.{} Mims allegedly was trying to steal a car, owned by a female in the 2900 block of Cherry Avenue in Birmingham.{} Bond was set at $120,000 for both crimes.{}

Mims is already being held without bond on five counts of capital murder.

Mims, Artavius Underwood, and Rashad Stoves are charged in the January 29 shooting deaths of Charles "C.J." Render, Ronnie Render, Demetrius Sanford, Jeffrey Davis Jr., and Jonathan Sanchez.
