Registration Open For St. Clair 5K Obstacle Mud Race

      Organizers want you to get down and dirty for charity. The St. Clair Scramble 5K Obstacle Mud Race will be held in Odenville on March 23.

      The St. Clair Scramble is a non-profit event benefiting the Ian Harper Memorial Scholarship Fund. The scholarship was created in 2009 in memory of Ian Harper, an alumni and state wrestling champion for St. Clair High School. Harper lost his life in 2007.{}

      The event will begin at 8 a.m., starting with the "toughest Team Challenge". The event will feature 3.2 miles of body-wrenching obstacles. The Kids Scramble Challenge is a smaller version of the 5K. You can register thru The individual entry fee is $50, Toughest Team Challenge is $400 for a team of 10. Registration includes timing chip and bib, T-shirt and goodie bag.{}
