Former FIU head coach Mario Cristobal has reportedly agreed to become Alabama's new offensive line coach.
CBS Sports was the first to report the story.
It would be Cristobal's second job in a little over a month. He was named tight ends/associate head coach at the University of Miami in January.
Most of Cristobal's football experience comes from the offensive line. He was an offensive lineman in college and coached the position at Rutgers and Miami before landing the head job at FIU in 2007.
Cristobal helped FIU to back-to-back bowl games in 2010 and 2011. The school cut ties with him at the Panthers finished 3-9 last season."I think he'll make a great addition to the team," Alabama offensive lineman Grant Hill told TideSports.com. "I have never met him before. I will soon though."
