Report: Falcons WR Julio Jones out for the season with foot injury

The injury bug continues to devastate the Atlanta Falcons as talented wide receiver Julio Jones is reportedly out for the season with a foot injury, the Atlanta-Journal Constitution and reported Tuesday.

Jones, the Falcons' former first overall draft pick in 2011 and budding superstar in the NFL, will have a second evaluation of his injured foot Wednesday and the team is expected to address the issue at news conference today at 2:30 p.m. (EST).

The former Alabama player from Foley recorded eight catches for 99 yards before suffering the unspecified injury in the Falcons' deflating 30-28 loss to the New York Jets Monday night. Jones has 41 receptions for 580 yards and two touchdowns through five games in 2013.
