Report: McClain gets permission to seek trade from Raiders

Linebacker Rolando McClain will reportedly try to find his own trade out{}of an Oakland Raiders uniform.

The NFL Network reports that the team has given{}the{}former Alabama{}Crimson Tide star{}permission to seek a trade. The report also says that, if no trade can be found, the Raiders will release McClain.

The Raiders picked McClain in the first round,{}with the 8th overall pick in the 2010 draft. He was{}their starting middle linebacker in his first two seasons but was demoted to reserve status in 2012.

McClain was also suspended two games for conduct detrimental to the team. He has also dealt with a variety of legal issues and gun charges during his three year pro career.
