REV Birmingham launches million dollar campaign
REV Birmingham is kicking off its 2013 Investor Campaign. REV's Board of Directors has launched a two-year, $1 million campaign to grow its staff and improve programs to boost Birmingham's City Center and its neighborhoods.
Regions Bank has committed as the first investor in the campaign. "We know that what is good for the City of Birmingham is good for its local companies. REV is going to be the implementer of so many of the ideas called for in the planning we've done as a community in recent years.We know the corporate community has to invest in making that happen," said Bill Horton, North Central Alabama area president for Regions Bank and chairman of the REV Birmingham Board of Directors.
REV has also named Atticus Rominger its Chief Public and Investor Relations Officer to spearhead the effort. He will also oversee communications for the agency, its initiatives and its special events.
