The City of Leeds is on a mission to draw visitors to its historic downtown through a revitalization project. The newly-formed Redevelopment Authority is working with Auburn University on plans to bring in new shops, restaurants and more.""What we have are three to four million visitors coming to the Leeds area at exit 140, and what we want to do is somehow create a sense that just two miles down the road, there's a place you want to visit," said Redevelopment Authority Chairman Sam Pezzillo. The project could take years to complete.
