Samford climbed back into the top 25, one week after falling out of the rankings.
The Bulldogs are 23rd in the FCS Coaches poll and 24th in the Sports Network poll after their 17-14 win over then-17th ranked Chattanooga.
The victory snapped a two game losing streak.
Samford can clinch a share of the Southern Conference championship if it beats Elon this weekend.
Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Seibert Stadium.
If the Bulldogs win and Furman beats Wofford, there will be a 3-way tie at the top of the SoCon standings. Furman would win the tiebreaker and get the leagues only automatic bid to the FCS Playoffs, leaving Samford and others hoping for an at-large berth.
The Bulldogs get the automatic playoff spot with a win over Elon and a Furman loss to Wofford.
