      Scottie's Cream Cheese & Olive Sammies

      1/2 jar stuffed olives, pieces, chopped8 oz. cream cheese, softened1/2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise1 teaspoon lemon pepper (optional)

      1/2 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)

      16 slices of bread (white or wheat)

      Mix olives, cream cheese and mayo well.{} (If it is too thick still to spread well, addjust a tablespoon or so of the olive juice and mix again).

      Chop the nuts into small pieces, similar in size to Panko BreadCrumbs.{} Put in a small plate andhold.{}

      Spreadthe mixture onto 8 slices of bread.{} Besure to spread evenly to the edges of the bread.{}{} Place the top pieces of bread on the Sammieand align the bread so the edges match as close to perfect as possible.

      Usinga bread knife or electric knife, trim off just the darker outside crust thencut into halves or quarters in a diagonal shape (no squared).

      Tapthe long edge of each Sammie into the plate of chopped nuts to decorate and addcrunch to each bite!

      Youcan wrap and chill or serve immediately.
