In Jefferson County, the Commission District Two election seems like it will never end.
Sheila Smoot supporter and district two voter, Ervin Hill, filed a second appeal to his complaint that election fraud resulted in Sandra Little Brown's 26 vote win over Smoot.
The Jefferson County Democratic party dismissed Hill's original complaint. Then, he appealed to the state. A subcommittee of the Alabama Democratic Party Executive Committee dismissed his Hill's first appeal Tuesday.
The Democratic Executive Committee will hear Hill's second appeal Saturday, but only if two things happen by noon Friday.
First, Hill must post a $1,500 bond to cover the costs. Second, he must file the transcripts of the previous hearings over the challenge.
