Shape up with Council President Johnathan Austin

Birmingham City Council President Johnathan Austin is inviting the public to attend a free "LINE DANCE FOR FITNESS" extravaganza.{} Austin's office says the Council President is passionate about the overall growth within our communities especially as it relates to health and fitness. And that's why on Thursday August 14th he is presenting the D2 Line Dancing by Desi Keith, and the Magic City Ballers Dance Group by Luellen Lucas.The event will be held from 5:30 p.m. -7:00 p.m,{} in Austin's District 5 at the newly opened Fountain Heights Recreation Center.Residents are encouraged come out and learn the latest line dances while burning calories and jamming to fitness. This event is free and open to the public. Instructors suggest that all participants wear comfortable clothes and rubber bottom shoes. Refreshments will be provided.
