UPDATE: Birmingham leaders revoke restaurant's license

UPDATE: City leaders unanimously voted to revoke the Good Friends Chinese and Seafood Restaurant's license citing it is unlawful for someone to discharge a firearm within city limits. They also say the business poses a public safety and public health threat to residents.

The Birmingham City Council will hold a "Show-Cause" hearing Tuesday to consider revoking the license of Good Friends Chinese and Seafood Restaurant in Birmingham's West End.The restaurant's owner Chun Ching is facing an attempted murder charge after allegedly shooting at a woman who claimed to have found a roach in her eggroll in February.{}The business closed shortly after the alleged incident.Ching's attorney Carl Chamblee insists Ching does not own the restaurant.Stay with ABC 33/40 as this story develops.
