State Troopers release identities of four killed in Greene Co. accident

EUTAW, Ala. -- Alabama State Troopers have released the identities of the four people killed including a 2-year-old in a single-vehicle accident Wednesday in west Alabama.

The crash occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m. on U.S. 11 at the 52 mile marker, five miles south of Knoxville. The 2004 Ford Explorer left the roadway and overturned before striking a tree. Seat belts and child restraints were not in use by any of the victims.

The driver, Justin Coleman, 21, of Alexander City and passengers Demetria Aaron, 30, of Tuscaloosa, Latrice Robertson, 22, of Tuscaloosa, and Ziliyah Robertson, 2, of Tuscaloosa, were killed in the accident.

Four other passengers all under the age of 18 were also injured. Myeisha Robertson, 17, was taken to DCH in Tuscaloosa while Kevone Carpenter, 10, and Kewone Carpenter, 11, were taken to Children's of Alabama in Birmingham. 15-year-old Keosha Aaron was taken to Greene County Hospital.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
