Stillman College SGA's trick or treating


You can go trick or treating in a safe environment again this year thanks to Stillman College. {}The Stillman College Student Government Association (SGA) is holding their second annual Community Trick-or-Treat on the College campus on Wednesday, October 31. {}The SGA is asking parents, teachers and youth leaders to bring children to take part in the event.The event kicks off at 3 p.m. {}Children are encouraged to wear a costume and bring their own sack for collecting candy. The free event will continue until 5 p.m."This annual activity is near and dear to me because it gives children in the community an opportunity to trick-or-treat in a safe and fun environment," said Stillman SGA President Shalyn Smith. {}"Wal-Mart was kind enough to donate candy to the Student Government Association to help make the day especially fun for kids, so we want to encourage parents, teachers and other chaperones to bring children."SGA members will be present to lead groups to different campus locations where candy will be distributed. {}An adult must accompany visiting children.
