Stolen Boy Scout trailer recovered, arrests made

TheTuscaloosa County Sheriff's Department has arrested five individuals inconnection to a stolen Boy Scout trailer that had been reported stolen from achurch in the 12000 block of Bone Camp Rd on March 30th, 2012.{}

Investigatorsin Tuscaloosa County recovered the 12 foot enclosed utility trailer on May17th, 2012 on Haglar Coaling Road near Clements Road.

OnMay 23, 2012, Investigators made five arrests in this case:{}

RickyBarnett and Elizabeth Ingram are charged with Receiving Stolen Property 1stDegree, with a $5,000.00 bond. {}Benny Lovelace and Sonny Turner are charged with Receiving StolenProperty 1st Degree; Forgery 2nd Degree, with a $10,000.00 bond.

The fifth suspect, Robert Howard, was already in custody on Parole Violationand Possession of Controlled Substance charges.{}Howard has been charged with Theft of Property 1st Degree; Forgery 2ndDegree, with a $10,000.00 bond.

Throughthe investigation it was determined that Robert Howard stole the trailerand the others disposed of the contents. {}The contents were found at the residences ofBarnett and Ingram. {}Sonny Turner, wasfound to have purchased stolen equipment from the trailer. {}

Over 90% of the equipment was recovered along with the trailer. The trailer containedapproximately $7,000.00 in camping gear.
