Students from Hoover finally headed home from NYC

Twelve students from Hoover's Spain Park High School have probably had enough of the Big Apple. They would prefer some home cooking, their own bed, and yes, even school.

The students were in New York City over the weekend for a Moot Court competition. Unfortunately, their flight home was canceled because of the approaching superstorm. Since Sunday, they have been staying at a hotel in Brooklyn.

Thursday evening at 8:05 the students expect to board a Delta jet at LaGuardia Airport and come home. Flight 6232 is scheduled to arrive at 9:55.

This week, they have communicated with their teachers and managed to stay up-to-date with their assignments. Several of the students also have granted interviews via Skype to area media outlets, including abc3340.
