STUDY: Childhood obesity rates on the decline

There is good news in the childhood battle of the bulge! Health officials say they now have evidence of a decline in childhood obesity.A government report found slight declines in obesity rates for low-income pre-schoolers in a federal food program in 18 states. Experts say the lower numbers may be due to policies that promote breast-feeding, and healthier eating.Nationwide, about 12% of boys and girls are obese.
