      Sunday morning crash claims life of Lafayette teenager

      An early morning car accident has claimed thelife of a Lafayette teenager.

      Alabama State Troopers report the accident occurredaround 4:00 a.m. Sunday on U.S. 431, about six miles south of Lafayette. 18-year-oldShoraski Durell Holloway was killed when his car left the road and struck atree. Holloway was driving a 1997 Chevrolet S-10.

      Troopers are continuing toinvestigate the crash.
