Suspect has been arrested and charged in 4th Court West homicide

The Birmingham Police Department reports that a suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with a homicide that occurred on Saturday, November 24th 2012, at 5:13 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to #24 4th Court West to investigate a report of a person shot.{} Upon arrival, officers found the victim, Dolouis Robinson, suffering from a gunshot wound.{} Birmingham Fire and Rescue responded and transported the victim to U.A.B hospital for treatment where hospital staff later pronounced her deceased.{}

Walter Wallace, 38, of Birmingham has been identified as a suspect in this case. A murder warrant, with a $250,000.00 bond, has been obtained against the suspect.{} Wallace is being held in the Jefferson County jail.

Investigators found that both subjects were involved in a domestic dispute over a cell phone bill.
