Suspect in Homewood triple homicide makes first court appearance
29-year-old Ana Patricia Dominguez, the suspect arrested Tuesday for a triple homicide in Homewood, made her first court appearance Friday for arraignment.
Judge Teresa T. Pulliam, of Circuit Court 10 in Jefferson County, arraigned Dominguez on four counts of murder for the deaths of a mother and her two young children. A Spanish translator relayed the counts to her, which included two counts for the murder of a person under the age of 12, one count of homicide during a robbery and one count of killing two or more persons.
Dominguez is accused of beating to death Areceli Juarez, 27, with a blunt instrument and murdering Juarez's two sons by strangulation. Their bodies were found in a Boulder Ridge Apartment at 110 Aspen Circle one week ago today by the children's father.
Dominguez will now wait for the court to appoint her an attorney, which could be as early as tonight or tomorrow, before she receives her next scheduled court date.Homewood Triple Homicide Reports:
