Suspect in Jacksonville shooting from June turns self in

Jacksonville police said the suspect in{}the June{}shooting of a Calhoun County man turned himself into police Tuesday afternoon.Investigators said 21-year-old Jeremee Bernard Griffin, of Douglasville, Georgia, came to the police station with his attorney and surrendered.Officers arrested Griffin{}for attempted murder and robbery with a weapon.{} Police said Griffin shot Vilas Patel outside a house on Mountain Street on June 16.{} Investigators told ABC 33/40 the{}morning after the shooting that it appeared to be a set-up.Griffin is currently held in the Calhoun County Jail on $100,000 bond.{} His preliminary hearing is set for August 11.
