Talladega Co. Sheriff: Search ongoing for missing Georgia man

27-year-old Nicholas Bower (6'4, 185lbs) has been missing since Saturday night after camping with friends at Talladega Superspeedway.

The Talladega County Sheriff's Office is holding a news conference at 2:30 p.m. regarding the missing Georgia man.

Nicholas Bower, 27, of Villa Rica, Ga., has been missing since 11 p.m. Saturday night and the sheriff's office has been investigating since Sunday. Bower was last contacted while camping in the South Park area campground at Talladega Superspeedway.

An employee of FASTENAL in Atlanta, Bower was last seen wearing a black hooded-sweatshirt with "FASTENAL" displayed on the front and black "FASTENAL" hat with mesh backing.

Sheriff Jimmy Kilgore says the search for Nicholas "Nick" Bower is ongoing. Search teams are using aircraft, boats and dogs in the search.

Bower's Sister, Bridgett Chambers, urges anyone with information regarding her brother to please contact the Talladega County Sheriff's Office.
