Tanner blanks Washington Co. in 2nd half, wins Class 2A state title

After trailing Washington County 13-7 at halftime, Tanner scored 14 unanswered points in the second half to win the AHSAA Class 2A State Championship at Bryant-Denny Stadium Friday evening.

Rattlers running back Hayden Stephens rushed for two touchdowns in the game, earning him MVP Honors.
