Tar balls washing up along Alabama's beaches

Tar balls have been found on Alabama's beaches in the wake of Hurricane Isaac's landfall last week.{} Workers in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach are seeing significantly more tar deposits on the sand than before Isaac.{} The tar is weathered, old and is not considered dangerous.{} The tar may have broke off from large, submerged mats left from the BP oil spill.{} Tests have not yet to confirm whether its linked to that or something else.
