TechBits: Wearable cameras (04.09.14)

Wearable technology was huge at this year's CES{<} and the Tech Guy found two wearable cameras that can take your shots for you.

The Autographer camera uses GPS, accelerometer, and other data to determine when to take a picture. {}You can also manually start a sequence. {}You can use the desktop software to plot out routes of where the photos were taken, or to stitch together a stop-motion movie.

Mecam is a simple wearable video camera. {}It's great for parties or outdoor activities- essentially, anywhere you want to remember a moment without having to watch it through a video camera's viewfinder. {}It also has IR capability for low-light situations. {}While wearable action cameras can cost hundreds of dollars, Mecam is just $50.
