Teen arrested in connection to Tuscaloosa EZ Shop robbery

Tuscaloosa Police have arrested a teenager in connection to Tuesday's robbery of EZ Shop on Greensboro Avenue.

Kendrick Antwan Woods, 17, of Tuscaloosa, has been charged with one count of First Degree Robbery and was transported to the Tuscaloosa County Jail where he is being held on a $60,000 bond.{} Woods will be charged as an adult.

During the robbery, Woods allegedly pulled a handgun on a shop clerk and demanded money from the register.{} He fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Investigators were able to locate Woods at approximately 3 p.m. on Wednesday after receiving a Crime Stoppers' tip.
