      Just in time for spring break, children get to step back in time to the Jurassic age when dinosaurs roamed the earth. It's called Dino Discovery. It's the first of its kind to roar into the Birmingham Zoo.

      Fifteen life-size animatronic dinosaurs come alive. A lot of research went into making sure the movements and sounds are authentic.{}

      There was plenty to take in. The baryonyx. The cryolophosaurus. And a dino exhibit just wouldn't be legit without tyrannosaurus rex.

      Kate Lipscomb, a spokesperson for the zoo, says dino discovery is a great way to combine entertainment and education. Parents agreed it's a nice way to spend a day of spring break.

      The exhibit is open at the zoo until July 21st. For more information visit http://www.birminghamzoo.com/
