Alabaster City School's dog Warrior has picked his favorite dog house.
The school system hosted a dog house competition and Friday morning, Warrior and the superintendent of schools, Dr. Wayne Vickers visited each of the schools to see what they had come up with. Warrior has been with the school system since the beginning of the year. He is being trained and will work with the students on anti-bullying and encourage them to read. Dr. Vickers says Warrior is probably the most popular employee with the school system.
The winning dog house award goes to Thompson High School. They worked with a professional designer out of Atlanta on their project. Warrior will be spending a couple of days at the school as part of the prize for the winning dog house.
