Crowds packed the BJCC, Sunday, for what's viewed by many as Alabama's premiere shopping event.
The "Southern Women's Show" returned to Birmingham this weekend bringing more than 300 vendors to town.
The show features the latest in fashion, cooking, beauty and health.
Thousands of spectators browsed the booths. Some say they were shopping for themselves, others were looking for gifts.
"I just love all the variety," Vanessa Reynolds said. "And the new styles."
"Even the people who come, they are all dressed so differently," Merry Searcy said. "You get to see so many different things. It's much better than going to the mall."
This was the 29th year for the "Southern Women's Show."
