Rolando McClain has cleared waivers and NFL teams are not wasting time getting in contact with the free agent linebacker.
A source close to McCain told the NFL Network that three teams have already offered the former Crimson Tide star, and two others are said to have interest.
The New York Giants and Cincinnati Bengals are two of the teams interested in signing the former first-round draft pick.
The Oakland Raiders released McClain last week, choosing to cut ties with their first round pick from the 2009 draft rather than deal with the distractions. McClain was suspended two games last season for conduct detrimental to the team, and did not play in the Raiders final five games.
McClain has been arrested twice during his three year NFL career.
