Alabama guard Trevor Releford is within 'swiping' distance of the school's record book.

Releford needs two steals to become the Crimson Tide's all-time leader in{}that category, and the mark could easily fall{}against LSU on Saturday. Releford{}averages just under two steals a game this season.

Releford has 175 steals in his Alabama career and trails only Senario Hillman on the school's all-time list.

"It will mean a lot to me, but not right now," Releford said. "I can't really focus on that because we've got a chance to do something that's big for our team. That's what I'm more concerned about."

Alabama is second in the SEC standings, one game behind Florida with five left to play. If the Tide can catch the Gators, it will be the program's first regular season league title{}in over a decade.

Alabama and Florida play in Gainesville on March 2.{}
