Tide's Trevor Releford named to preseason All-SEC Team

      Alabama's Trevor Releford will start this season right where he left off last year.

      The senior guard was named to the Preseason All-SEC First Team as voted on by the conference coaches.

      Releford earned All-SEC honors last season as a junior when he averaged 14.9 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists a game. He was also named to the SEC All-Defensive Team.

      Kentucky led the way with five players on the preseason All-conference team. Wildcats freshman Julius Randle was picked as the SEC's Preseason Player of the Year.
