Auburn added Todd Golden to it's basketball coaching staff. He'll serve as the Director of Operations.
Golden spent the past two seasons on the staff at Columbia, working as it's Director of Operations in 2012-13 before earning a spot as an assistant coach last season.
Golden played college basketball at St. Mary's (CA) and after school played professionally in Europe. He played for the USA Open Team at the Maccabiah Games in 2009, which was coached by current Auburn coach Bruce Pearl. Pearl's son Steven, who will be the Tigers strength and conditioning coach, played on the team as well.
There are still three positions to be filled on Auburn's basketball coaching staff. Bruce Pearl is interviewing candidates for two full-time assistant coaches and a Director of Scouting position.
