Trinity Medical Center Adds Disinfection Technology

{} Trinity Medical Center is now the first hospital in the state to add germ-zapping technology to it's room disinfection process.

The technology uses ultraviolet light to disinfect.{} It will be used in Trinity's isolation rooms, Intensive Care Units, and the Emergency Department to destroy viruses, bacteria, and bacterial spores.{} Disinfecting a room will take about 5 to 15 minutes.

"We are committed to providing the best possible care for every patient," says Keith Granger, President and CEO of Trinity Medical Center.{} "Xenex supports our staff's cleaning efforts by providing an extra measure of disinfection."
