TUSCALOOA COUNTY - AL — A deputy with the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office staked out the ice dispenser on Highway 43 North late Monday night. The deputy went there after learning it had been broken into the past week. He saw the suspect, Joshua Clint Stringer, pull up to the ice dispenser and start drilling the lock. The deputy approached the suspect and took him into custody. Stringer later admitted to the prior burglaries of the ice dispenser and he was charged with one count each of third-degree burglar, third-degree attempted burglary and possession of burglar's tools.
