Tuscaloosa has two weekend shootings

Deputies in Tuscaloosa are investigating two weekend shootings.

The first happened Friday night about 8:30 p.m. at the Crescent East Apartments. An argument started a fight that ended with a 28-year-old victim being shot in his hand and leg.

Police say the suspect ran away. The victim is being treated at DCH.

Another shooting happened in the 300 block of Greensboro Avenue around 2:00 a.m. Saturday.

Investigators say an 18-year-old man was shot in the right leg. Witnesses say that shooting also started with a fight.

Both cases remain under investigation.
